Frequently asked questions
The details, up front.
What it costs, how payment works, and what to expect—so you can decide quickly whether this is right for you.
Cost & payment
What does it cost to get started?
The discovery call is free. Your comprehensive evaluation is $99.
After your evaluation, Ashley walks you through the plan she recommends and what it costs—before you commit to anything.
Do you take insurance?
Aligned Performance is a cash-pay practice and doesn’t bill insurance directly. That’s what makes longer, one-on-one sessions built around your goals possible.
You’ll receive a superbill you can submit to your insurer to seek out-of-network reimbursement.
What is a superbill?
A superbill is an itemized receipt with the codes your insurance company needs to process a claim. You pay for your session, then submit the superbill to your insurer yourself.
Whether and how much you’re reimbursed depends on your plan’s out-of-network benefits, so it’s worth calling your insurer to ask before you start.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. HSA and FSA funds are accepted.
Getting started
What happens on the discovery call?
It’s a free 15–30 minute conversation. We talk through what’s going on, what you want to get back to, and whether working together is the right fit.
There’s no pressure to book anything afterward.
What does the evaluation involve?
A comprehensive, in-person evaluation designed to identify the root cause of your symptoms. We assess how your body moves and where limitations exist, then build a targeted plan to get you back to training without setbacks.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No. In Idaho you can see a physical therapist directly, without a physician referral.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less notice, and missed appointments, may be subject to the full session fee.
If a true emergency arises, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Read the full appointment policies.
How many sessions will I need?
There’s no set number, and no template. Your plan is built around your goals, your training, and what the evaluation shows—and it’s adjusted as you progress.
How care works
Where do sessions take place?
Concierge physical therapy is one-on-one and delivered in your home across the Treasure Valley (Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Star, Kuna, Nampa, and Caldwell), with no waiting room and no commute.
Virtual coaching and programming are available wherever you are.
How is virtual coaching different from in-person care?
Virtual coaching is a fully remote experience: a personalized program, guidance, and ongoing adjustments, with direct access to Ashley through the coaching app between sessions.
It doesn’t replace an in-person medical evaluation when one is needed.
Can I work with you while pregnant or postpartum?
Yes. Pelvic health care covers every life stage: preparing your body for birth and staying active during pregnancy, postpartum recovery and return to exercise, and the changes of perimenopause and menopause.

I’m not injured. Is this still for me?
Yes. Performance services are for women who are pain free and want to be proactive—movement screens, strength and mobility programming, proactive pelvic floor assessments, and technique coaching for lifting, running, or cycling.
What hands-on techniques do you use?
Cupping, dry needling, IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization), and manual therapy and joint mobilization—used when they support your plan, alongside strength and movement work.
